National Members

National Members are nonprofits based primarily in Washington, DC that coordinate and implement exchange programs. National Members work closely with our Community-Based Members to create tailored experiences for exchange program participants. There are two types of National Members: National Program Agencies (NPAs) and National Members.

National Program Agencies

The following organizations are designated as National Program Agencies (NPAs) of the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP):

National Member Organizations

National Members are organizations based in the United States that carry out other international exchange programs, host international events, and promote intercultural understanding. The primary distinction between these members and our National Program Agencies is that these members do not implement the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP):
