We are honored to announce Sarah B. Rogers, Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, as a keynote speaker at the Global Ties U.S. 2026 National Meeting. She will deliver remarks on Wednesday, February 18 during the Opening Plenary.

As Under Secretary of Public Diplomacy, she leads the U.S. Department of State’s efforts to expand and strengthen relations between U.S. citizens and citizens of other countries. The bureaus and offices reporting to the Under Secretary work to advance national interests by seeking to engage, inform, and understand the perspectives of foreign audiences, and include the Office of Global Public Affairs; the Office of Policy, Planning, and Resources; and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, which houses the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), the flagship professional exchange program implemented nationwide by the Global Ties Network.
The National Meeting is the premier annual gathering of international exchange and public diplomacy professionals, convening leaders and representatives from the community-based member organizations of the nationwide Global Ties Network along with supporters from government agencies, the private sector, nonprofit organizations, and academia.
